Is Global Design Generic?

Architecture is becoming more global and exchangeable. In surprising collages, SHAPE shows how architecture does not depend on scale or location. Consumer consumption icons are taken out of context and set in landscapes and cityscapes. It suddenly becomes possible to visualize a seemingly natural architectural setting. Rem Koolhaas also showed how current this theme is with “Absorbing Modernity” at the Venice biennial.
