In 34 traditional folk tales recounted by the people of Oman to the authors. These oral tales have been passed down from generation to generation but sadly few have been written down and recorded until now. Fearing that this rich tradition may be lost, the authors set out to cover the country from north to south, east to west to ensure that they documented as many as possible before the aggressive mass media that we know today takes over and the stories are lost.
