This volume deals with Wittgenstein’s approach to the relation between the capacity to speak and the human form of life. It takes a stance against a naturalistic as well as a sociological views of this notion and seeks to promote a broadly logical understanding instead. Contributions focus on the genesis of „Lebensform“ in Wittgenstein, its function within his mature philosophy and its relation to penomenology and ordinary language ühilosophy.
