The texts are reproductions from Bell´s British Theatre (London 1780-1784), The British Theatre, ed. Mrs. Inchbald (London 1808) and The new English Drama, ed. W. Oxberry (London 1820-1825). They habe been regrouped in handy sized volumes compromizing either the work of an individual author or selection of particular types of drama.
