With his book of photographs, Stephan Laackman presents a series of works done between 2006 and 2011 that are dedicated to traveling musicians and focus on the tour-specific tension between the extroverted stage performance and the self-oriented concert break.
Laackman responds to the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life on tour with calm, almost contemplative image compositions. He dispels all sensationalism and respectfully explores the essence of his motifs.
