Das Politische in der Ontologie der Person

Helmuth Plessners Philosophische Anthropologie im Verhältnis zu den Substanzontologien von Aristoteles und Edith Stein

This study re-interprets Plessner’s philosophical anthropology as an ontology of the organic. Through an analytic comparison with Aristotle and Stein, the author shows that Plessner not only adopts central ontological topoi, but critically transforms them, thereby conceiving the relationship between nature and politics in terms of a natural philosophy of the political.
