Der 7. Mai war ein ganz gewöhnlicher Freitag. Und doch wird er für lange Zeit in Erinnerung bleiben. Denn an diesem Tag reisten 432 Fotografen durch ganz Deutschland, um festzuhalten, was vor ihrer Kamera geschah: in Schulen und Wohnzimmern, auf Fußballplätzen und Flughäfen, in Parlamenten und Diskotheken. Sie sind über die Dörfer und durch Großstädte gefahren und haben nach Momenten Ausschau gehalten, die dieses Land repräsentieren.
The 7th of May was an ordinary Friday, and yet it will be remembered for a long time. Because on that day 432 photographfrs travelled throughout Germany with their cameras to capture what took place: in schools and living rooms, on football grounds and airports, in parliaments and discotheques. They travelled through villages and towns and were on the lookout for moments which represent this country.
