The philosophy of the Enlightenment still greatly influences our thinking today. This is especially true of Immanuel Kant, whose writings on moral philosophy, theory of law, philosophy of history, and political theorymoulded decisively the concept Enlightenment based on terms like reason, critique, and immaturity.
