Mechanics of Women

von

In this volume of La Fábrica’s new 64P. collection, Miguel Rio Branco proposes an intense reflection, in a highly symbolic tone, about relationships and relations between men and women, which are often shady and troubled. Mechanics of Women is a photographic essay about genre inequality, dominance, seduction, possession and sex.
64P. is a photo-essay collection whose aim is to recover and raise the value of brevity. It is a collection that chooses intensity over duration. 64P. takes up a creative space akin to short stories in literature or short films in cinema. There are other ways to tell. Some things must necessarily be brief. This is why the most outstanding photographers have been invited to create under this premise.
