“Romania” is the title of the Annual Photography Award organised by the European Central Bank (ECB) in Romania in 2009. The publication provides an overview of the current creative output in fine art photography in this European country, with a compilation of the best works submitted and the three award winners Nicu Ilfoveaneu, Iosif Kiraly and Dragos Lumpan.
The publication features photographs that focus on “Romania”, its moods, atmospheres and personal memories, people, situations and landscapes, as well as clichés and prejudices.
Shortlisted candidates are: Tudor Prisacariu, Bogdan Croitoru, Radu Constantin Ilea, Silviu Ghetie, Ioana Cirlig, Carmen Obreja and Ufo Zoltan Egyed.
