What if pseudonyms, alter egos, and double-gangers weren’t inventions, but already existing individuals? What, if choosing a name wasn’t an active process on our part, but the consequence of an interest in our potentials from a different, unexpected direction? We could assume then that what we think is an invention proves to be the readiness of a different entity. Because something or somebody is there that is committed to bridging the gap.
