von ,

This volume fills in the scholarly context surrounding Husserl’s landmark Ideas for a Pure Phemonology and Phenomenological Philosophy of 1913. Presented for the first time in English are a number of the critical essays that Husserl responded to directly in the Ideas I, a number of the critical and sympathetic essays that appeared in the wake of its publication, and Husserl’s subsequent responses to his critics.
