A small art historical sensation: Hundreds of largely unknown photos of Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966). Several were taken by world famous photographers, such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Man Ray, others by less well-known colleagues, who consequently capture their own personal insights. All reveal new facets of the legendary artist.
Among the selection are portarits of the young, powerful Giacometii, showing him carefree surrounded by his family and with his wife Annette ARm, as well as photos of his studios in Paris and in Bergell and portraits of his final years. Also available in addition to the photographs is a series of previously unknon drawings by Alberto Giacometti.
