paintings if there were no excess, no errata, or no corruption. These interruptions read simultaneously as painterly gesture, material accident, and electro-magnetic corruption, crucially animating her paintings.
Her book „The Visible Spectrum” emphasizes the visuality of her recent paintings, their visual and material influences and inspirations, as well as a preoccupation with color. The idea of a spectrum or continuum is also a philosophical counterpoint to polarities. The source imagery in the book is wide ranging and their connections are unexpected.
