In ihrem Künstlerbuch versammelt das Künstlerpaar Carola Vogt und Peter Boerboom ihre beiden neuen Bilderserien „Abenteuerland“ und „Bodenprobe“.In “Abenteuerland” visualisieren sie die Verschränkung aktueller Freizeittrends mit altbekannter Waldromantik. Durch die Neuinszenierung des Waldes mittels Outdoorincentives, Walderlebnispfaden und Hochseilgärten in schönen, möglichst naturbelassenen Gebieten, sind spezifisch neue Bildfindungen möglich. In „Bodenprobe“ sieht man deutlich die Tendenzen, kleinere und unspektakuläre Elemente in der Landschaft aufzusuchen und sie so in Szene zu setzen, dass ihre Fremdheit in der sie umgebenden Landschaft durch fotografische Mittel und Betonungen noch stärker unterstützt wird.In their new artist’s book the artist couple Carola Vogt and Peter Boerboom have combined their two new series of photographs entitled Abenteuerland [Adventure Land] and Bodenprobe [Soil Sample].In Abenteuerland they visualise the intertwining of current leisure trends with the well-known romanticism of forest settings. By restaging the forest setting with outdoor incentives, woodland experience trails and high-rope courses in beautiful areas as unspoilt as possible, they conjure up specifically new image treatments. Bodenprobe clearly illustrates the trend towards seeking out smaller and unspectacular elements in the landscape and showcasing them in such a way that their unfamiliarity within the surrounding landscape is enhanced still further by photographic means and emphases.
