Through the classic means of analogue photography Su Bo investigates the multifaceted interplay of form and color in our everyday lives and, at the same time, documents their essence and temporality in a philosophical manner. For him, photography has no bounds: inside of each object lies a hidden core, whether it’s in a flower petal or a heap of garbage. From his point of view, life is not divided into good and evil, beautiful and ugly. He feels these distinctions are limitations. YOYO invites us to search for similarities in differences.
