Autor: Sarah Ehrlicher
Sarah Ehrlicher is a German woman who was shocked by information on the Shoa at school at a very young age. Since then she has continuously been interested in Vergangenheitsbewältigung – German coping with the horrors of war and fascism. She has been active publicly, professionally and in her personal life against any form of racism, prejudice and for understanding, intercultural exchange and peace.
Every year she has travelled to different places in the world to meet people in their daily life situations, using the organisation SERVAS to find friends with a similar attitude.
She has also been to Israel and to the occupied territories of Palestine and thus met people with all kinds of perspectives of the conflict, but all deep in their hearts longing for peace.
